In a world where animals are often overlooked, Satguru Charitable Trust’s GoSeva initiative is a beacon of compassion. From stray cows to abandoned dogs, our mission is to provide care, shelter, and love to those animals who have been forgotten or abused. At our Goshala (animal shelter) in Tiruvannamalai, we care for 82 cows, 43 dogs, and 3 horses, ensuring they are treated with the respect and kindness they deserve.
Why Animal Welfare Matters:
Animals, like humans, deserve a life free from suffering. Unfortunately, many animals, especially cows and dogs, are abandoned due to injury, illness, or neglect. The GoSeva initiative was launched to rescue these animals and offer them a safe haven where they can receive medical care, regular food, and shelter for the rest of their lives.
The Goshala’s Daily Work:
Every day, our dedicated team of caretakers provides nutritious meals and medical attention to the animals in our Goshala. We not only care for the physical health of the animals but also work to rehabilitate those who have suffered trauma and abuse. By offering these animals a safe and loving environment, we aim to give them a new lease on life.
Our Achievements:
Since its inception, GoSeva has made a profound impact in the Tiruvannamalai region. We’ve been able to rescue and rehabilitate hundreds of animals. Our Goshala has become a sanctuary where these animals can live without fear or hunger.
